Runescape publisher Jagex's publishing wing has been able to RS Gold secure a promising indie title for their Jagex Partners label, which makes Melvor Idle an independent not anymore. The idler game, similar to games like Clicker Heroes or Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms, released on Steam this year, and wears its influence from Jagex's mainstay Runescape extremely proudly.
Melvor Idle is a detailed multi-track idle game that will attempt to recreate "the basic elements that comprise the RuneScape franchise in a way that they can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace," says the publisher. It's a very loaded with features idle game with a variety of different things to make and progress, as well being a focus on avoiding prestige mechanics requiring a game restart.
Jagex apparently became aware of this project as early as 2020. A lot of their staff members loved it even before its official Steam launch in October of the same year. As you can imagine that the game's creator is happy to be hooked up to the creators of one of their top games. "Being in a position to collaborate on this with Jagex to directly work on this project has been a dream realized," said Brendan Malcolm who is the sole creator responsible for runescape gold for sale Melvor Idle Studio Games by Malcs.
